On his vibrant, edgy, infectious and insightful debut single “Broken Promises,” emerging Chilean born, Los Angeles based pop/rock/electronica artist Rob C. draws creates a deeply personal yet truly universal anthem for anyone who has ever faced the steep challenges of the creative struggle to be heard and appreciated.

With catchy grooves, a colorful soundscape and spirited rock tinged energy, he proves himself to be a masterful and soulful sonic architect. The true emotional thrust of this instantly engaging song comes from his talented friend and fellow Musicians Institute student, powerhouse Brazilian singer Renata Vontobel – who is billed as a featured artist.

Despite the dark-tinged title concept and expressions of a solitary journey which all aspiring artists can relate to, Rob also spins a hopeful note - essentially using these setbacks as a way to discover the deeper truth inside his soul which will keep him persevering.

Rob brings a fascinating, eclectic background to his emergence as an indie artist – including stints with rock and symphonic metal bands, Latin folk artists and a Tango orchestra in Chile. He’s also started performing throughout Los Angeles. It’s clear that he can do it all, and that he will transcend all the “Broken Promises” he’s faced along the road to become a mainstream force in pop music.
